  • Universal surgical principles for ear surgery (tissular trauma, healing, middle  ear ventilation)

2.00 PM HANDS-ON SESSION ON ANATOMICAL SPECIMENS

  • Initial evaluation of individual strengths and weaknesses for endoscopic ear surgery
  •  Surgical installation for EES
  • External auditory canal cleaning
  • Ventilation tube placement
  • Tympanomeatal flap
  • Middle ear anatomy
  • Endoscope manipulation and prevention of trauma

  • Myringoplasty 
  • Ossiculoplasty
  • Stapes and round window surgery
  • Endoscopic anatomy of the environment of the middle ear (vessels, dura, facial nerve, inner ear, internal auditory canal)
  • Final evaluation of individual strengths and weaknesses in EES
